I’ve been having lucid dreams for over 20 years now and there has been no single thing that’s transformed my life more than these experiences.

I wouldn’t trade it for ANYTHING in the world.

For the past eight years, I’ve been traveling around the globe unraveling the deepest secrets of lucid dreaming.

My journey started at UC Berkeley, where I spent most of my time studying dreams and sleep directly with the world’s leading researchers…and they have helped me to open my eyes when it comes to lucid dreaming.

It was at UC Berkeley many years ago where I put together the first version Lucid Academy’s online animated video course.

During that time I devoured the most important contemporary and ancient texts available.

Since then I’ve spent the past years traveling the globe, seeking out wisdom from some of the world’s greatest masters of lucid dreaming.

It was a personal quest to finally master the art of lucid dreaming.

Quite frankly, if I wanted to achieve my objective I had to get inside the minds of these lucid dreaming experts.

And that’s what I did…

I learned Tibetan Dream Yoga from Buddhist Lamas in the mountains, received secret teachings from Indian gurus in ashrams, studied sacred techniques in the jungles of Thailand, learned the mysterious ways of the Hopi Indians, and discovered ancient underground methods of the Yogic masters.

My journey has taken me from the academic halls of UC Berkeley to temples in obscure villages in India, all for the sake of uncovering the secrets of lucid dreaming.

I’ve learned the best, most effective methods and closely guarded secret techniques through years of practice and study, and I’ve created a practical “system” that people like you can use to achieve great success in lucid dreaming.

I really want to share this experience with everyone, so I decided to create Lucid Academy and offer this fantastic opportunity to the world.

The one thing I’ve learned after all these years of delving into the potential of human consciousness: I know absolutely nothing at all.

I just have one question for you.

Are you dreaming?

Sean's book is very good - I recommend it. After having finished reading it a couple of days ago, I am once again remembering my dreams and that is a good start. I expect to start having lucid dreams once more very soon. Sean is a good coach. He is correct in that you can buy many books with a whole lot of techniques and then get overwhelmed and confused. What do you do when one does not work? How long do you stay with it before trying another technique? Well, it is the way of the western world for sellers to give more and more - in this case techniques. It can be impressive. Many of the other good researchers and authors, most in fact, mean well, love their craft, and want to share it. But does it really serve the customer to have a large quantity of his techniques at his or her fingertips with no one to act as a guide? Maybe, but personally I would rather have someone coach me and encourage me to find one thing and stick with it. Sean also encourages building a strong foundation by emphasizing the basics. That feels solid to me. My history is that I have had probably a few dozen lucid dreams in my life - some of which have been amazingly profound. I have studied the subject on and off for years. In the last year or so, lucidity in the dream world has eluded me.except for a few times. So his short but concise book (it astounds me that at least one reviewer calls it padded) has been very helpful. Okay, so he briefly advertises his online course at the end of the book. So what? He also gives this helpful book away for all of $.99 on kindle. This is a person whose heart seems to be in the right place. Thank you Sean

I found this book to be very well written and straight to the point - offering good advice on prerequisites, the appropriate mindset and all the essential techniques for anyone to embark on their personal journey to lucidity. From one dreamer to another - great work, Sean! I could only wish something like this was available back when I started my own quest; it would definitely save me a lot of time and trouble.

Definitely one of the best books on lucid dreaming I've ever read! It goes in depth and provides really helpful insights into the techniques of lucid dreaming while keeping things simple and engaging. It's unlike other books I've read on the subject. Whereas other books have been abstract or vague in their description of the practical aspects of beginning a lucid dreaming practice, this book give so many practical applications, reminders, and tips for how to make lucid dreaming accessible to anyone. I've found it really easy and fun to follow the recommendations, and noticed a shift immediately.

I was impressed by the clear yet powerful techniques for how to establish and expand my lucid dreaming practice, which I've been struggling with for years. I've done what the book recommends, and the techniques are so effective! This book is really accessible, simple and straightforward. So refreshing!! It gets right to the point, while providing enough background knowledge to contextualize the information shared. My lucid dreaming has gone to a new level thanks to this book! No matter if you're new to lucid dreaming, have been playing around with it for a while, or have an established practice, there's something in here for you!

I didn't have high expectations for this book -- I'm sorry, but I didn't. Maybe it was because of past disappointments I have had with cheap digital books that promised big and delivered small; however, this book proved to be worth my time (and my dollar). I have only read one other book on the subject of lucid dreaming -- The Tibetan Yogas of Dreams and Sleep. Excellent book in terms of taking you deeper into the practices of Buddhism but very technical on the order of lucid dreaming. That book is not realistic for me: this book is.

What I liked about the book:
One suggestion that the author gives that helped me immediately in remembering my dreams was not to allow my mind to think about ANYTHING in my upcoming day when I awaken from a dream. Instead, stay with the dream, and if I cannot remember it, then recall another dream, because that will trigger other dream memories. I did just as he instructed this morning, and sure enough, my last dream, which I could not remember at all, started coming back to me. I really liked his section on reality checks too. As far as techniques, the book only gives one -- MILD. I knew a little about it from a YouTube video I had watched previously, but this book gave a much better presentation of it. The author states that focusing on too many techniques can be problematic...that it is better to go deep with one technique that shallow with a few. I get that, but hopefully, MILD is the technique for me. I intend to make a serious effort at it. If I meet with any success, I will add it to this review.

One last comment: I just skimmed through chapters 1-10. I wouldn't exactly call those chapters fluff because I can see where some people might really benefit from them, but I didn't really get hooked until chapter 11. From that point on, I thought the book was great.

I'm torn regarding how to review this book. One the one hand, there is so much fluff inside: long table of contents, passages telling us what the author is about to tell us, passages telling us what he just told us, lists reminding us of what he just told us a few pages ago. The book could have been 1/4 as long as it is and maintained its message. As it was, I kept thinking, "When are you actually going to say something useful??" Most of the book was quite frustrating to read, and I felt a bit insulted that so many words were used to tell me so little.

However - and this is a big "however" - when the author finally does lay out tips for effective lucid dreaming, they are succinct, innovative, and useful. While he does not promise results right away, I can truthfully say that I had a lucid dream the night after I read this book, after not having had more than the occasional random lucid dream for several years. That's too close for coincidence. Something I read in this book had a remarkable effect.

In sum, this book could have been a pamphlet - but a worthwhile pamphlet, and well worth the price you'll pay for it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Muita enrolação para pouco conteúdo

O autor se apropria de conceitos e definições que parece não dominá-los bem, de forma a apenas preencher o conteúdo do livro. A parte prática também deixou muito desejar.

5.0 out of 5 stars Compact and clear
Reviewed in Germany on September 18, 2016
This work is quite compact and I read it within one afternoon.
However the author explains how to make lucid dreams happen step by step and I had results after the first night already in remembering a lot of my dreams.
For people like me who were interested and open to try things out, this is actually enough and if you want to, there are countless other books on the market to deepen your knowledge.
So five stars for a very good introduction focusing on the practical application.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Book on Lucid Dreaming
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on May 3, 2015
I read about 8 books on lucid dreaming. While they were all pretty good, they gave you loads of different techniques but they didnt actually tell you what to do with them. I tried all of them one by one every night and after a couple of weeks nothing worked. I counted not having lucid dreams as a failure, and didnt see that gradually my dream recall and waking awareness were improving. I got kind of sad and stopped trying. This book teaches you precisely how to not do that, and now after a few weeks I have had a couple of lucid dreams following this book. This guy's advice is seriously worth a lot more than just one dollar. Thank you so much Mr Kelly for this awesome book.
