It could have been a good book but...

Book is full of referrals to other companies and it is obvious that the author gets money as affiliate marketer for that. But it is very annoying.

First few chapters are an exact copy of his first book.

The audio has problems. There’s one per where two different voices are playing at the same time and you can’t understand anything

Chapter 10 is repeated twice.

Maybe if you are brand new to writing...

This might be helpful for someone brand new to creative writing, or someone who has never read a self-help book. It presents a list of "best way to start your day" (journal, brush your teeth, etc) with writing best practices (write every day, find a productive place to do it, etc)

Inspiring & Informative

Just finished listening this morning and I've already committed to starting it again on this afternoon's commute. That's a first for me.

I expected tips on how to make my writing habit a successful habit instead of a chore I only start to enjoy 15 minutes before my schedule forces me to stop...which makes it easy to avoid the next day.

Well I got all that and a whole lot more. Imbalready benefitting from the very easy steps for self motivation, which start from the night before. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is struggling to hone their craft, and want to commit to attaining higher productivity and profit.

Major glitches

I love the content, but in several chapters, the book starts to play over itself reading the previous chapter simultaneously with the current one. I had to skip an entire chapter at one point.

You'll want to listen multiple times

So packed with information and suggestions that I'm listening again and again. Nice to hear recommendations and how tos from multi-published authors.

Sure, some of it might be things you "know", but hearing how other people handle things can be really enlightening. The bulk is seriously practical and I'm SO glad I bought it.

This won't sink to the bottom of the listening list anytime soon. Well worth the money.

If you have to ask about the authors, you definitely need this!

Chapter 10 (13 in audio) was doubled

Chapter 10, chapter number 13 in audio, was doubled. A lot of repetition, one could say. Otherwise, not a bad choice to listen to.

Absolutely loved this book!

I highly recommend this book for my fellow writers. Whether you're a beginner or very experienced, this is an absolute "must-read" It's absolutely amazing in its depth, and soooo motivating! It starts off by focusing on carving out time for writing (a problem we all face), but it goes so much further than that. It really goes in depth step by step through the entire writing process. It offers outlining techniques, book recommendations, marketing suggestions, branding tips.... Really, it just covers everything. You can get the hard copy or order it on kindle, but personally I am really enjoying the audible version. I listen to it while I'm at work and by the time i get home I am primed up and ready to write!
