Well, in life we are surrounded by lots of “noise”.  Social media, television, advertising, sometimes even “important” things like, “what the Kardashian's are wearing” can take up your valuable mental resources. 1. Hi S.J. I’m in the process of reading “Master Evernote” on my Kindle now. I’ve already downloaded the CamScanner app you mention…I used to just take photos of everything with my camera phone and then hope I could find what I needed later. Per your recommendation, I’m sticking with the free version to start. I’m a writer, and I could see myself becoming an Evernote junkie. I like to be able to work from anywhere, so I like how it syncs across all devices. I had been looking for something like this guide…can’t wait to read the rest of your tips!

    • Awesome Kara,

I am glad you like it so far. It sounds to me that you will become an Evernote junkie -because I am for the same reasons. Thanks for the comment and I hope you enjoy the rest of it!

  2. I listened to the audiobook and there was some type of companion guide you mentioned.
Could you email me the link rather than me shuffle back through the audiobook to find it (I thought I was to include “free” on the end of some web address)?
It is overwhelming to listen to and not see what you were saying.

FYI I had been using the premium EN version for over 1 year and heard what you said about tags. I went back and saw I had only 3 tags and spent 1 hour tagging a ton of stuff. I want to organize my EN consistent with your recommendations.

    • Mike,

It is awesome to hear that someone who has some experience with EN still got some useful information from the audiobook. I tried to write a lot of it from the “new” user perspective, but have hoped that there was enough good stuff in there for someone who has used it for a while.

Re: tags. They can certainly be a pain to set up if you have a ton of stuff and haven’t kept up to date with them. I do believe they are so darn useful in the long haul, it will be worth the time you spend fixing them now.

I think the “guide” you referenced is the PDF version of the ebook. Which I usually send to people if they want it and got the audiobook. (I did write this a few month back -I may have forgotten something I referenced if it was something else.

I will send you a copy of the pdf, next time I jump into my email.

    • SJ,
I heard you on the Hal Elrod podcast, and I just downloaded the audible version of your book. When you get a chance can you email me the PDF as well?

Thank you and keep up the great work.

    • Hi Scott!
I seem to be in the same boat as a few other readers/listeners concerning the ” master notes ” pdf mentioned in the audible book. It’s the follow along to the audible version and I can’t seem to find it with the link provided, maybe you would be so kind as to stick it in an email? I must say I’m more of a listener than a reader, but it would help with some screen shots to follow along with! Fantastic app,I just need to learn how to use it! Appreciate the help,God Bless and thank you…Jay K

  3. Hi Steve!

Firstly, I love this, and all the other books I have read that you have written. It’s such an amazing talent you have to be able to pick a topic, research it, and write such valuable books about it.

Anyway, quick question. In the Audio version of your Evernote book you keep referring to the “pdf” and I can;t find it. I know you mentioned the link, but I’m halfway through the book and don’t recall what section it was in. Could you steer me please?

    Thanks again,

  4. I am also listening to the audiobook, which I will be recommending to my husband who is a new Evernote user. (I’m a long time user). I would also like a copy of the PDF you referred to in the book. Many thanks, and I am looking forward to exploring your site and other publications.

  5. Hi – I downloaded and listed to the Master Evernote book from Audible and found it very helpful. I had worked with Evernote previously a bit then gave up as I didn’t have these kinds of insights of what you can do with the tool.

I went to find the pdf mentioned in the book, but did not see it at similar to other books. I cannot locate on this website either. Is it possible to receive a copy?

Many thanks. I will be posting a review and telling my friends of the wonderful efficiencies these suggestions can have in simplifying our everyday tasks.

    • Thanks Jack. I appreciate your leaving a review/telling others. I sent a PDF copy of the book to the email you left for the comments. If it doesn’t reach you write me a message to stevescottsite AT with the request for the book and I will get it to you.

  6. Hi Scott,
Is there any chance for you to sell your book on google play book?? I can’t purchase your book here from Indonesia since there is no option for e-book purchasing in Amazon or iTunes Store. Usually, I tried to find an e-book via Google Play Book, unfortunately was not available yet. I have tried another sites, but still purchase option not available in my country.

  7. Hi Scott,

I just purchased the audio book but I can’t find the PDF reference. Can you email that to me? Thank you.
